All About Sachin's Cricket Career
Tendulkar became the youngest player to make a century in national first-class cricket when he made his debut for Bombay (Mumbai) at the age of 15 in December 1988. He started his career against Pakistan in the city of Karachi in November 1989 at the age of 16 years, becoming India's youngest international test cricketer.
When he was 17-year-old, he scored a game-saving 119 not out in August 1990 against England, becoming the second-youngest player to get a century in Test cricket. Tendulkar became the captain of the Indian cricket team in August 1996, when he was 23 years old. For his remarkable performance during the 1997–98 season, he was awarded the "Rajiv Gandhi Khel Ratna Honor, which is the highest honor given to an Indian sportsman.
Despite India's defeat against Australia, in the 2003 world cup, Tendulkar was voted the tournament's man of the tournament, averaging 60.2. Tendulkar achieved his career-high 35th Test cricket century on December 10, 2005, at Feroz Shah Kotla against Sri Lanka. Tendulkar made history by being the first player to score 15,000 runs in (ODI) one-day international game in 2007. He was the first batter to score 15,000 runs in Test cricket in 2011.

In the year 2013, Tendulkar completed his 200th match and played his last Cricket match, capping a remarkable career that includes over 34,000 runs as well as 100 innings in international cricket. Tendulkar was the youngest person and the first athlete to be awarded the Bharat Ratna, India's highest civilian honor, immediately after his final game. In 2019, Sachin Tendulkar was welcomed into the Hall of Fame of the (ICC) International Cricket Council.
